Welcome New Member - Alex Jackson - Motorcycle Tour Operator

Hi Robert
Thanks for the invite.
As you see I run a Motorcycle tour business. Tours are in South Africa however I am based in UK at present.
I have attached some info regarding the tours so if you could publish that would be fantastic.  Still finding my way around the site so bear with me re postings.  I would much rather be back in the mountains I can tell you.  Also a couple of photos as a taster attached.

Here's Dave Wong's bike - Suzuki GSX - Hot!

Dave Wong and I used to work together at SMART Technologies, Inc...from Calgary, Alberta.  Along with Richard Schlinkert (another bike rider...and a classic restoration guy)....we were on the road many times together....putting up....working...then taking down a tradeshow booth.  Whew!  Sometimes we'd get a chance to experience the local tastes....and there was one time in particular...where I introduced Dave to the giant magaritas at the Mexican Bar/Restaurant in Mandalay Bay - Las Vegas. Dave still remembers that one, eh Dave?

Laverda Motorcycle sidecar - a sidecar like you've never seen before!

Click on either of the two photos and they will explode to full size for better viewing!

It is Laverda motorcycle sidecar, a supercar sidecar, including gulfwing doors. This Motorcycle Sidecars by François Knorreck of Italy. It took the man ten-year period(10,000 hours of work) and at a cost of 15,000 euros to complete his work the Snaefell. Now this 1000cc Laverda motorcycle has three exhausts, and the other half uses bits from a Volkswagen Golf GTI, Audi 80 and a Citroen Xantia car. It looks amazing!

I added some 'Motorcycle Music' to our website. Come take a listen!

Always love to be able to read about, write about, and look at photos of motorcycles, when I can't ride.  In a fit of inspiration a few days ago, I decided to add a soundtrack to the mix.  Hope you enjoy it. It will change regularly.  Ride on Brothers and Sisters!

1913 Harley Davidson - Complete Look including watching it run!

Read all the way down, and check the archives section. LOTS of great ride stories and photos!

Be sure to go to the 'Archives' on the right side of this page. There are hordes of great ride stories in 2009/2008.

You can use the 'search' button on the top righthand side of the page to find a specific article or see what's available on a specific subject.

There's a very well written story about riding around Kyushu Island Japan and ending at "The Sturgis of Japan", or ride along with John and the Muskogee Motorcycle Club back in the 'old' days.....in a story from John Merriam, or how about following Peter Galea, Francis Galea and myself as we ride from Seattle to Las Vegas?

Much more! Just go to the search bar and type a search, or spend time going thru the archives (on the lower right side) to see many stories and pictures. Ride Safe, brothers and sisters!
